Places to stay

If you aren’t staying at the Courtyard Marriott, we recommend the Isla Verde area if you prefer hotels. Condado is another appropriate and popular area for hotel stays, and it is about a 5-10 minute drive from our reception venue. If using Airbnb, any one of the following areas are a good fit, with their approximate driving distance from the reception venue: Isla Verde (5 min.), Condado (5-10 min.), and Carolina (5-10 min. away, and likely the cheapest option). Old San Juan is always an option and it will be the furthest distance from the reception with approximately a 15 minute drive. *NOTE: the reception hotel is NOT an all-inclusive resort.

Ubers are readily available and affordable. We will provide transportation for our scheduled events, leaving from the reception hotel. It is a 15 minute drive from our reception space in Isla Verde to our ceremony church in Old San Juan.

It is not storm season, so the weather will be an average 85 degrees during the day and sunny with 70 degree nights!

Wedding Attire

Cocktail. Since Puerto Rico is a tropical island with warm weather year round, we suggest formal attire with lightweight fabrics. Our church area in Old San Juan has cobble stone streets, and our reception is along the beach in Isla Verde, so we also suggest women avoid wearing stiletto shoes for safety.
