It’s scary how someone can wear a mask for years. I spent most of my life, dedicating my efforts and intentions around empowering women only to find myself a victim of domestic violence. I would never want another woman to go through what I went through and if I was warned, I would’ve never continued in a relationship with this person let alone marry him.

He had been observing her since he walked in and told her that she was stunning, proceeded to ask if she was married, then asked for her number so that he could take her out for lunch. This bold approach definitely made an impression because the couple had lunch at a sushi restaurant the next week. Keep in mind sometimes relationships have to move quickly because the mask gets heavy. I have to give him credit. He had a very tough crowd fooled as my family is very selective and protective as am I. My advice would be not to fall for the love bombing and the widower story; there was violence in his first marriage too of course I didn’t find that out until it was too late.
