Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We’ve officially reached ‘Fire Marshal’ levels of crowded. We love you dearly, but we physically cannot fit any extra souls in the building without someone sitting on the wedding cake. So unless your plus-one is an invisible ghost or a very small hamster, please stick to the names listed on the invite. The bride’s sister is heading up the Surprise Guest Task Force, and she enforces a very strict “No Name, No Plate” policy. So please, let’s keep the surprises limited to our dance moves.

Can we bring the kids?

Answer

We love your kids — truly. But due to space and logistics, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a well-deserved night off, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony. This moment is incredibly special to us, and we would love for everyone to be fully present. Please refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony—we promise to share plenty of beautiful photos afterward!

What should I wear?

Answer

We’d love for you to join us in formal attire. Black tie is entirely optional—wear what makes you feel confident. Formal attire generally includes suits, tuxedos, formal cocktail dresses, and evening gowns. The bridal party will be wearing navy blue, so guests who prefer not to coordinate with the wedding party may wish to select a different color. Above all, our goal is for everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy a wonderful evening celebrating with us. We can’t wait to celebrate together!

Will there be alcohol?

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event. Just remember: we want to celebrate with you, not carry you.

Can we book a room at The Yorktowne Hotel?

Absolutely! We’d love for you to stay at the Yorktowne Hotel, where all of our wedding festivities will be held. It’s the perfect way to be right in the heart of the celebration! Rooms are limited, so we encourage you to book as soon as possible.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available directly across the street from The Yorktowne Hotel in Market Street Parking Garage. The address is 41 E. Market Street. Parking on the weekends is free and it does have EV charging stations for your convenience. Additionally, there are parking garages on Philadelphia Street and W. King Street. If you prefer, metered parking is available.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes early to allow time for parking and getting settled before the ceremony begins at (insert ceremony time)

What if I’m late?

Answer

We know that life happens (we’re not judging, promise!). However, because our ceremony is very important to us, we won’t be allowing guests to enter once it begins at 5:00 PM to avoid disruptions. If you happen to arrive late, please relax in the lobby and meet us at cocktail hour—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
