Can I bring a plus one?

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos or videos during the event. We have professional photographers and videographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

Are kids welcome?

Although we love the kiddos, We kindly request that the ceremony and reception be an adults-only celebration, creating an elegant evening where all our guests can fully relax and enjoy themselves. (Unless Bride and Groom personally offer exception)

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be a very formal (black-tie) affair. We kindly request that guests dress in formal attire—women in elegant formal wear and men in suits with ties. In addition, the bride and groom respectfully request that all guests wear all black attire to complement the occasion.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly recommend arriving at The Movement Church Chicago by 3:45 p.m. in preparation for the 4:00 p.m. ceremony. Doors will close promptly at 4:10 p.m., and late arrivals will be seated only after the bride’s processional has concluded. Full ceremony details are included with your invitation.

To RSVP, please visit the RSVP page on this website and submit your response by May 16th. Your timely reply is greatly appreciated as it allows us to plan accordingly.

Is alcohol allowed at the reception?

Answer

Our reception will be an alcohol-free celebration. We kindly ask that all guests respect our wishes by refraining from bringing any alcoholic beverages, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone. Please note that any guest found bringing alcohol into the reception will be respectfully asked to leave.

Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for recommendations, however guest are welcome to book any hotel near the venue or the church!

Yes, we have a wedding registry. You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website. A wishing well will also be available at both the ceremony and reception for your convenience.
