Meeting The Williams

Joshua wanted to get ice cream with his friend (who didn’t want to go) so I took it upon myself to offer a solution. I went with him to get ice cream in the middle of my diet at the time so I couldn’t even eat ice cream haha! We went and got ice cream on October 15th, 2021. I think it’s safe to say that I caught him because if I can’t eat something, I am not going to sit and watch you eat it!! 😂 we sat outside singing gospel music the entire night until 1am or so. And thats where it all began in little old Kuwait! (He didn’t know that was our first date.. sssh🤭)

our first date. let's go down memory lane.. Ill never forget how this all started. I believe everything about this night was just ordained by God because I never could of even told you I saw this coming. So ya boy had just finished singing real heavenly in choir rehearsal and I was talking to one of my choir brothers telling them "Imma probably just go get some ice cream after this" shi must of been listening like a hawk cause after I said that she was like "I'll go with you ". In my head I was like "I was just gonna go by myself but alrighty ". Im not gonna lie. Ya boy was  nervous as heck cause I was just kinda blown away that a woman wanted to even go with me anywhere.  I should of known she wanted me, but I was the type to play dumb until she confessed it lol. So we walk to baskin Robbins after choir rehearsal and again im nervous so I really didn't know how to act so I just tried to play it cool. At the time Shi was on keto so she couldn't have ice cream so she pretty much just had to watch me eat my vanilla ice cream. Again ill never understand why she went with me that night to Baskin Robbins until we got back to her barracks. When we got to her barracks we was just outside in the Kuwait heat just talking and then all of sudden she broke down and started crying on my shoulder and I comforted her in that moment.  It was kind of wild in that moment seeing that side of her because in choir rehearsals  she was always the one talking loudly in a good way with everyone and laughing with everyone, but it was something different about her this night when it was just me and her. It was  like there was a sensitive and softer side of her that she allowed me to see that I had never seen. It makes since now why Maya Angelo said "when people show you who they are believe them the first time ". Well let's just say I believed it because that was one of the best nights of my life when God allowed me to finally see the woman that I am soon to marry! That night we literally talked, laughed, and did a whole lot of singing, and ever since that night 3 years ago.. We have been together. God I thank you for Baskin Robbins because had it not been for it.. I may have missed out on my Dairy Queen! 😉😁🤣😂😁❤❤ 10/15/21
