Never in a million years did I think that I would meet the man of my dreams at a football game! Your best-friend is the one who knows the kind of person you are and the kind of person you deserve. Mine just refused to let me settle for anything less than. One night while I was talking to her on the phone, she brought up Courtney's name and told me I had to meet him. Of course, I just assumed that she wants me to date her fiance's cousin, so we can have double dates. Courtney and I talked on the phone for a while and it felt like I knew him forever. On Dec 21st, we met at his cousins football game and just talked about any and everything that we thought of. His honesty and passion for God really caught my attention. His corny jokes and fun personality really sealed the deal.

For weeks I planned my 30th Birthday celebration. And if you know me, this was a very tedious task. I wanted everything to be perfect, and when the day finally came... IT WAS NOT! From a ripped dress to 2 completely destroyed cakes, I had just about given up on the party. Luckily, I had Courtney every step of the way reassuring me that it was going to be a night to remember. Boy was he right :) All of my close friends danced and partied with me, taking my mind off every negative thing that had went wrong. As I danced in bliss, Courtney grabbed my hand and pulled me to the middle of the dance floor, where there was a chair. What appeared to be a funny lap dance from him, quickly turned into the best moment of my life. As MAJOR played in the background, he got on one knee with the most beautiful ring.
