I met Jayson through one of my best friends, I wouldn’t give him my number so he got the next best thing, my instagram! We did a lot of taking to each other through instagram, we had conversations about everything, music, life, video games, Tv shows. We would talk for days on end, we became each others best friends. Eventually life caught up with us, we stopped talking for some months. We would check up on each other here and there until eventually I finally said that we should talk more… We haven’t stopped talking since that day… We had never met in person until August 28th, 2020. I finally convinced my mom to let you come over even if it was only for two hours and my sister has to be our babysitter. You asked me to be your girlfriend that day(in sign language). I knew that day I didn’t want to spend my life with anyone else. Since this day we have done a lot of growing up together, learning who we are together and apart. On April 13th, 2024 Jayson asked me to marry him I of course said yes! On August 28th, 2026 I get to marry my best friend in front of all the people we love, We cannot wait to celebrate with everyone.

The first day we met was August 23rd 2019, I had no idea what to talk about. But it felt natural. I asked you to marry me that day, 7 years later almost to the exact date we will be. We stopped talking for some months, one day in 2020 in March, I was out with a friend and i remember that day talking about you a lot. I knew I’d want a relationship with you. Prior to that day we were talking a lot more after my birthday in January and you said we should talk more. Since then we haven’t spent a day not talking to each other. 5+ years straight. In August 2020 I was going to school in Cincinnati. We were talking everyday that year and I wanted to ask you to be my girlfriend in person. You made a way so that I could come over, my mom dropped me off and we spent a few hours together on the couch. You said you knew sign language so on the fly I decided to ask you out in sign language, after 10 minutes of learning how to, I did it and you said yes (in sign language). I had to goto school the day after on August 29th, i remember being really sad. Having a new girlfriend and now not being able to see her. I’d take the greyhound to Cleveland periodically until eventually I was home for good. Some of my favorite memories as a man was the time me you and Amaya spent in midtown. All of the DoorDash, the sleepovers, the walks to Aldi’s, they meant everything to me. Through the years after we’ve been through a lot of learning each other. A lot of realizing it’s no longer 1 person in ourselves. A lot of growing up and becoming adults in the same space. But our biggest attribute is to come together after trials the next day and be happy again. We have now been engaged for over a year, and in another year will be married. The “marry me” on August 23rd, 2019 will finally come true.
