We met online in September of 2022, and went on our first date shortly after. We decided on hiking at Canoe Creek State Park and then came back to Hannah's house for homemade chili, cornbread and a beer afterward.

Brent proposed on his 30th birthday, the day following his surprise party. We decided to enjoy a low-key day together and took a walk in the Penn State Arboretum. I had joked about how one day I would love to get engagement photos taken here, and had just finished saying how I felt like I would have our whole wedding planned before he even proposed when I turned around and saw him down on one knee. I immediately asked if he was joking, and we then celebrated with friends at a local bowling alley over $2 White Russians.
