FAQs

Question

What is the attire for the wedding and is there a dress code?

Answer

Please note that this is a black-tie formal event. Please dress with modesty as this is a Christian event. Please avoid wearing the color white, purple and yellow as these colors are reserved for the wedding party. All in attendance should keep in mind 1 Timothy 2:9 as a guide regarding how to groom themselves for this event.

Question

Will there be a zoom option for those who cannot attend in person?

Answer

Yes! We are blending lives from two different states so we thought it would be important to try and include as many people as we can. A zoom link will be sent to all invited guests closer to the date of the wedding. Please do not forward or share the link or log in credentials with others as we wish for this to be an intimate event for close family and friends.

Question

How should I dress on Zoom?

Answer

If your camera is on please have on appropriate formal attire. If you are unsure of what to wear please think of what you would wear to an interview or visiting a local Kingdom Hall. If you do not wish to wear formal attire please have your camera turned off to show proper respect for the occasion.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We would love to be able to accommodate as many people as we reasonably can. For guests who we have given the plus one option to, it will be indicated on their invitation. If not specifically indicated on your invitation, please avoid bringing additional guests. Thank you for your understanding and attention to this matter!

Question

Who should I contact regarding questions about the day?

Answer

Please contact the Maid and Matron of Honor for any questions regarding the arrangement. For the sake of privacy on this public platform, please contact bride or groom directly if there is a need for such contact information and their information will be provided. However, please do not ask the bride or groom these questions directly.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot host children at our wedding. We have made a limited exception for a few family members. Invitations will specifically indicate how many individuals per household will be expected in attendance. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Where should we send our wedding gift?

Answer

Please send all wedding gifts through the registry link provided. The link provided will direct you to an address where gifts will be received. If you intend on bringing a card we will have a table at the reception hall that will have a collection box. Thank you in advance for your kindness!

Question

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony event will take place outdoors. The ceremony will take place in a pavilion with a cover and multiple ceiling fans. However, the reception will take place indoors. Please plan your dress and grooming accordingly.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We want all of our guests to have fun and to remember this joyous occasion. Please tag us on social media so we can thank you on our different platforms. We will also have a photobooth for our guests to create memories.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is ample parking at the venue.

Question

What is your wedding hashtag for social media?

Answer

We have decided that all photos for our wedding will be saved on social media with the hashtag #HappilyEverWilliams

Question

Is the ceremony and the reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes both are taking place at the same location! The ceremony will be outdoors at the pavilion and the reception will be indoors at the carriage house. We will have signs posted and attendants on sight to guide our guests.

Is there a discount code for any of the hotels listed in the travel tab?

Answer
