Vintage Paris is the best! My friends and I have gone here many many times throughout high school and even throughout college when I come home and we need a cozy place to catch up. They have a community guitar for anyone to play, if you're interested, and they also have super good coffee roasted in house. Love. It's the local favorite for a good hot cup of coffee on a cold day!
We love SDC, especially around Christmas time! They have lights on everything and their funnel cake is a must. I checked their calendar, and they are open the weekend of our wedding, so if you're looking for something to do check it out! The theme park is all out doors with the exception of shops and things, so if the weather is too cold maybe it's something you save for another time.
Danna's is one of those local restaurants that I have always recommended to my customers at work. I had my first job here bussing tables and so this place will always hold a special place in my heart. The food is awesome and definitely shareable! I highly recommend. The banana's foster is super yummy, too, if you're looking for dessert ;).
Sugar Leaf is such a precious place for Sam and I. When he came to Branson for the first time, him and I sat at a corner table and talked about our relationship. We had the apple cider which was delicious! They have such good food and also really really good cake! They close somewhat early, so it's definitely more of a lunch place. Highly recommend!
Vasken's is a local favorite. Owned and operated by a Lebanese man and his family, this restaurant is great for lunch or if you're wanting something light. They offer gyros and other cultural foods all handmade. My family and I love it and have shared many memories there! The potato salad rocks!
Fritz is a locally owned indoor park with ziplines and all sorts of other things to climb on. If you're looking for something to do while in town, check out this place! Since our wedding is in December, I thought it might be something fun to do on a cold day!
If you're looking for a good, cheap Chinese place to eat, this is where my family and I go on the regular. If you're wanting to save some money, you can walk in, ask for a to-go box, and grab some buffet food of your choice. You pay by the pound and it's quick, easy, and really yummy!
Cantina Loredo is where Sam and I went on our very first ever real date... on his 19th birthday! It's a nicer Mexican restaurant with really delicious food. It's located right in the middle of the Branson Landing (an outdoor mall). If it's a cold day, I would recommend parking in the parking garage or getting bundled up for a little walk.
QDOBA IS MY FAVORITE. Ask anyone who knows me, Qdoba sustains me mentally, physically, and emotionally. I'm kidding, of course, but I need you to know that this place exists in Branson and it's the best. If you're wanting to save a little money, you can order the kids' burrito bowl for $5. It comes with a drink and you can ask for guac or queso on the side to go with your chips. I love it. Qdoba has changed my life and it's the best.. so you should eat here.
The shows that are put on here are amazing. The theater performs musicals based on Bible stories and it's awesome. The last one that I went to was Jonah and they had a large whale come out over the crowd and it was really awesome. Check into the dates on this, you would really enjoy it!
I think I have been to this show once... it's been awhile, but it was listed as one of the top things to do in Branson on TripAdviser so that says something!
This is such a good local breakfast place. It's about 15-20 minutes out of town, but it's worth the drive!
I've grown up watching movies here for different school trips and even for random movie nights with my family. This could be a fun thing to do on a cold night while in town!
