On our first movie date night, we watched the Disney movie "Meet the Robinsons". Our wedding hashtag #MeetTheRichardsons is a tribute to that!

Karen and Chandler went on their first two dates on the same day. Chandler invited Karen to coffee at Spill The Beans in downtown Greenville, where they talked for hours over coffee then walked around Main Street to finish conversations after coffee. They went their separate ways then just a few hours later, Chandler texted Karen to get dinner that same night! They met up again for dinner, but decided the extra hour wasn't long enough. They continued the night at Up on the Roof for rooftop drinks for a few more hours before eventually parting ways.

Long before meeting in 2019, Karen and Chandler matched on the app Tinder in 2016. Of course, Karen was too shy to spark any conversation at that time. We only know about the match now because Karen found a screenshot of it years later!

Karen's engagement ring diamond is a family heirloom. It first belonged to her grandmother's godmother, Alleen Gutches. It was then passed to her great grandmother Pauline Zirpel, down to her grandmother (aka Brummy), Charlotte Krumke, then to her cousin Morgan Kerr, then to Karen! Well technically, it went to Chandler first...then on March 19th, 2023, Chandler got on one knee and gave the ring to Karen.
