By the will of some mutual friends, Alex and I ended up at the same movie theater, which happened to be sold-out. The group opted for frozen custard instead, and Alex and I wound up across the table from each other. After a night of laughing and getting to know each other, Alex snagged my number from a friend and invited me on our first date. Three dates and five days later, I was headed to Greece for a six-week mission trip, and Alex was headed back home to Joplin, Missouri. Those following nine months of dating long distance hold some of our very favorite memories, still to this day. But boy, did we rejoice when Alex landed a job back in College Station in February of 2017. We have loved every bit of experiencing life together since then. So much so, Alex made me the happiest girl, and asked me to be his bride on September 23, 2017. And so begins our wonderful, beautiful adventure of a life together! We are so humbled and thankful that you have been and will continue to be such an important part of our lives! The Lord has showered us with His abundant grace and peace, and we cannot wait to see how else He decides to bless us beyond our wildest dreams. We are overflowing with joy as we anticipate the day that we will become husband and wife. Thank you so much for celebrating alongside us!
