It all started at a tiny university in the middle of nowhere, back in 2017. Ally transferred in as the “new girl” sophomore year at Upper Iowa University. On the first day of classes, she sat down near the front in Anatomy & Physiology and within a few minutes, Kyle entered the class as well. He chose the seat directly behind her and the rest is history! The class was small and led to lots of late night study groups with everyone coming together. Long nights of studying together with their friends, soon turned into even longer nights of the two of them staying up and talking to one another (sometimes until the sun came up). They quickly became best friends and eventually began dating on September 25, 2017. Over the years they have taken on so much together. From graduating undergrad, moving in together, getting their Master’s degrees, moving down to Nashville, adopting a cat, and managing long distance. Within the chaos of all the life changes, the two took a trip to Breckenridge, CO. Little did Ally know, Kyle had been conspiring with all of her friends to make the trip unforgettable. He got down on one knee in the mountains and popped the question. **Spoiler alert:** she said yes!
