If you do not RSVP by August 18th, 2025, it will automatically marked a "no". We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!
While we love all of the children in our lives, we have decided to have an adults-only wedding celebration. We hope you understand and encourage you to use this evening as a well-deserved night out!
The dress code is formal attire! Weddings are a fun opportunity to dress up and look your best. Gowns, floor-length dresses, knee-length dresses, midi formal dresses, tuxes, suit and ties are among the many options for formal attire.
In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guest formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.
According to meteorologist Phillip, Ruckersville in October is mildly cool, with average highs of 70°F and lows of 48°F.
The closest airport is Charlottesville–Albemarle Airport, but may have limited flight options. Ruckersville, VA is an hour and a half drive from both Richmond International Airport and Dulles International Airport. We recommend looking into renting a vehicle or using a transportation service for the weekend.
The ceremony will begin punctually at four-thirty in the afternoon. We recommend you arrive no later than four o'clock in the afternoon to ensure you are able to comfortably arrive on time. The reception will end around ten o'clock in the evening.
Yes! We will provide a shuttle from the hotel, to the venue & from the venue, to the hotel! There will be a few departure times throughout the reception if you wish to leave early. The location of the venue is remote with limited availability through ride sharing apps, so we encourage use of the shuttles.
Yes! If you do not wish to take the shuttle to and from the venue, there is parking available at the venue.
We kindly request an unplugged ceremony. To allow our guests to be fully present with us, we ask that you do not use your phones or take pictures/videos during the ceremony. A professional photographer and videographer will be capturing these moments, and wish to not have any well-intentioned guest’s phone block their views. We will, of course, share our photos with you afterwards. After the ceremony, we would love for you to capture our special day and encourage you to snap away!
The drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you! We are providing an open bar with signature cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drink choices.
The ceremony will take place outside with a beautiful view of the mountains. The reception will be held inside the Guildford Farm event center.
No! We are very lucky to have both the ceremony and reception at Guildford Farm.

Yes! The wedding venue has restrooms indoors, which are ADA accessible.
The ceremony will be open seating with a reserved first row. For the reception, we will provide a seating chart with table numbers.
