Check out Hood River WaterPlay, a premier water sports center right in the heart of Hood River, and join us for our group whitewater rafting trip (details on 'schedule' page)! - Horseback Riding: Double Mountain Horse Ranch offers half-day and full-day trips with mountain views, trail rides and wine tasting adventures. Mount Hood Railroad
The historic Mount Hood Railroad is one of the best Hood River attractions for kids, and a unique way to enjoy northern Oregon’s scenery. The train leaves right out of downtown Hood River, and the one hour Hood River Valley Excursion has great mountain views while winding past orchards, vineyards and the river in the surrounding Columbia River Gorge.
Hood River Fruit Loop
This 35-mile scenic drive through the valley's orchards, forests, farmlands, and friendly communities is a must-do. A picturesque valley, two towering snow-capped peaks, and thousands of acres of orchards provide great photo opportunities as well as fruits and wines, lavender and alpacas, and family activities.
