Our StoryOur Story

For nearly two years, Meera and Harshal unknowingly crossed paths throughout Dunwoody, Atlanta, visiting the same coffee shops, browsing the same farmers markets, and running through Brook Run Park, yet somehow never meeting. They lived just five minutes apart in Dunwoody, a northern suburb of Atlanta, which, for those familiar with the area, feels like being next-door neighbors, and yet their paths never crossed. At the time, Meera was preparing to move back to California, feeling as though her chapter in Atlanta was coming to an end. But just before she left, one unexpected moment changed everything. One day, Harshal came across Meera on a five-inch phone screen. In her profile, Meera mentioned wanting someone who shared her love for cozy coffee shops, outdoors, especially hikes in the mountains, and tennis. Most importantly, she hoped to find someone genuinely kind-hearted, and after two years together, Meera can confidently say Harshal is exactly that. Soon after, the two planned their very first date at 26 Thai. In an unforgettable turn of events, Harshal arrived 45 minutes late after accidentally going to the same restaurant at a different location. Most people might have left, but Meera stayed and waited for him. Over dinner at 26 Thai, they discovered a shared love for tennis, hiking, and watching documentaries. Beyond tennis, they also found themselves on opposite sides of a playful basketball rivalry. Meera, a Lakers fan, and Harshal, proudly rooting for the Hawks which only added to the lighthearted back-and-forth between them that night. What unfolded was one of those rare, effortless connections where conversation flowed easily and laughter came naturally. What was meant to be Meera’s farewell to Atlanta instead became the beginning of something far more meaningful.
