Guests will be responsible for booking their own flights. We HIGHLY recommend booking your flights as early as possible since it will be cheaper than booking last minute. The closest international airport is in Florence, about an hour and 10 minute drive from the venue. A bus will be arranged from Florence to the wedding venue (for those staying on-site) departing on June 8th at 1PM. More details to come. For those staying off-site in Siena, there is a train that will leave from both Rome (High speed Train) or Florence (Regional Train), departing multiple times a day, we suggest booking in advance. Alternatively, the link below has a list of private shuttle services that will drive you to wherever you wish to go! These will also need to be organised in advance. A list of local taxis/Vans, along with links to the trains to get into Siena are within the helpful Links page.
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is formal attire. Some ideas: Ladies: floor-length, tea-length or midi formal dresses or long pant suit. Gentlemen: suit or a blazer with dress pants.
Yes, there is ample parking at the venue. For those who are comfortable, we recommend renting/hiring your own vehicles to explore the beautiful tuscan countryside as well as to travel to and from the venue. As a note, Italy requires an International Driving Permit, which is required to be completed prior to travel.
