No We are asking everyone to put their phones down for the ceremony and enjoy the day with us, we have hired a professional photographer and would prefer to not have photos of our special day dotted with iPhones. Don't worry, we will share photos later and you can take as many as you want after our first dance.
Please RSVP by August 20, if we haven't heard from you by then, we will assume you won't be coming and you may not have a plate.
Due to the extreme limitations of the reception venue, we are asking all children under 16 to stay home unless approved by the Bride and Groom. If you have questions regarding this, don't hesitate to reach out.
No Due to the limitations of the reception venue, please only bring a plus one if your invitation includes one. We are extremely limited on space and cannot accommodate excess people who are not on our guest list. If you have any questions regarding this, don't hesitate to reach out.
The ceremony begins as close to 1:30pm sharp as we can, please arrive no earlier than 30-45 minutes in advance, unless otherwise requested.
Plan for cocktail attire. The church has asked for modest attire, no bare midriffs, short skirts, overly tight pants etc... Also, please keep in mind the reception will be at a barn, so maybe bring an extra pair of comfy shoes.
As of now, we will not be setting up a livestream option, as we have hired a professional photographer and will have all phones put away. If you feel you may need this accommodation, please let us know as we will not be offering it without cause.
The reception will begin at 4pm at Hilltop Views Farms in Williamston, MI with food being served between 4:30 and 5pm. Please note this is a barn, plan your shoes accordingly. (You will have time to change if you wish)
We will be providing minimal alcoholic beverages, to cut down on costs. However, you are more than welcome to bring your own beverages if you so wish. We will have plenty of water, coffee, tea and lemonade for everyone. Please keep in mind that if you choose to drink, you will be responsible for your own way home.
We will have food brought in, if you need a special accommodation for an allergy or have any other concerns, please contact Jessica or David as soon as possible to make sure your request is able to be arranged. There is also a place you can add food allergies when you RSVP that will automatically come to us as soon as you submit.
We have a registry under the "registry" tab on this site (we are also registered on Amazon), however, we are both adults with much of our own belongings and are already going to have multiples of pretty much everything so if you'd like to give toward our honeymoon, there is a link for that as well.
There will be plenty of parking for the ceremony, however, there is semi-limited parking for the reception. If you are able to carpool, there will be time to figure that out between ceremony and reception.
If you need a ride, there are plenty of Uber, Lyft and other taxi services in the area. If you need other accommodations, let us know.
We have not reserved any room blocks, this is not a weekend with a home game, so there shouldn't be any problems finding a room, if you start booking early enough. I have linked a few to choose from under the "Hotel" tab.
