It all started during freshman orientation at UNC Pembroke, where Connor first spotted Meeghan and decided to shoot his shot, by asking her to play a friendly game of cornhole. He tried his best to smooth talk her the entire time… unfortunately for him, her boyfriend at the time was standing on the other side of the boards. Fast forward to the summer of 2017, when Connor decided to try again, this time by sliding into Meeghan’s DMs on Twitter. And what do you know? It worked. They’ve been talking (and laughing) ever since! Their first date was at the local Mexican spot, San Jose in Pembroke, where Connor was clearly smitten, but Meeghan made him play the long game. After six months of talking, they officially started dating on December 1, 2017. Since then, life together has been one big adventure, from college days to careers, new cities, and everything in between. These days, you can find them in Wilmington, soaking up the beach life with their pup Luna!
