We’re getting married!

Due to our current situation, our wedding will be postponed to October 16, 2020. Thank you for being flexible during this interesting time! We are so excited to begin this journey together as the Conigliaro’s. We cannot thank you all enough for all of the love, support, and guidance you have given us over the last couple of years. We can’t wait to see all of you in October 2020 to help us celebrate becoming husband and wife!

It was the week before Kristen's birthday and her parents surprised her with a professional photo shoot with her favorite pup, Sailor. Her mom had mentioned that it was just for her and Sailor, but she hadn't paid for Anthony to be in the photo shoot. Kristen wasn't given entirely too many details about the photo shoot other than it was the upcoming Saturday around 3:00pm. Kristen was so excited, but little did she know what was really going to happen. Throughout the week, she touched base with the photographer to coordinate the time and place. Kristen couldn’t contain her excitment and was even trying to outfit plan to match with Sailor and her cute new collar! On Saturday, Allison was texting Kristen to let her know that she had been to the VMFA to check out some good spots for pictures and they settled for pictures to take place around 1:30 that afternoon. Kristen and Sailor took over 900 pictures during the shoot while Anthony was enticing Sailor in the background with yummy treats to get her to smile. Sailor was great! At the end of the shoot and little did Kristen know, Allison and Anthony were periodically texting during the shoot to arrange a good place for Anthony to get down on one knee. The rain started to pick up slightly with a drizzle, and Kristen asked the photographer if Anthony could jump in for a few pictures, so she had us walk toward the Magnolia trees to get a few candid shots and then we could get a few under the Magnolia trees with the three of us. At the top of the hill in front of the Magnolias, Anthony turned to Kristen and said, "I have a confession to make. I was behind this whole thing. I was the one who scheduled the photo shoot for you and Sailor for your birthday gift." Soon after, he got down on one knee and started crying. Right then, Kristen knew what was happening and she was speechless! Anthony popped the question, and Kristen said, "yes!" It was the best afternoon ever. We are so excited to become Mr. and Mrs. Conigliaro!
