What do I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal to dressy casual: suits, dress shirts with slacks, or cocktail dresses! Note that all events are indoors, but there is an outdoor patio at Canterbury Castle available to guests.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there is a large parking lot in front of Canterbury Castle!

Is there still room in the hotel block?

Yes, as of 7/21 there are many spots open!

What time is check-in and check-out at the hotel?

Answer

Check-in starts at 3 pm and check-out is at 12 pm.

Is there a shuttle from the hotel to the reception?

Answer

Yes - please see the transportation tab for shuttle times. They will also be posted at the hotel front desk.

What is there to do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

If you are staying at the hotel, it is about 35 minutes away from St. Clement so we recommend driving straight there to check-in, freshen up, then get on one of the shuttle busses. If you aren't staying at the hotel, we recommend checking out Canterbury Village or downtown Lake Orion! There are lots of shops and a public event planned at Canterbury Village, but everything will likely be closing up by 3 pm. However, you can still take a walk on the grounds! There is a lobby at Canterbury Castle that will be open during the day, but the doors to the reception do not open until 5 pm.
