Welcome to our Happily Ever After

Tyler grew up going to Westside Bible Fellowship and attended their youth group every Sunday evening. Dani began to attend the same youth group intermittently during her junior year of high school after her friend invited her. Tyler and Dani were briefly introduced to each other at this time but didn't talk to each other since they each had their own clique within the youth group. Flash forward three years later (post youth group days) and Tyler and Dani met again during his brother's graduation party. They hit it off and began dating that summer.

Dani began running in 2021 as a way to relieve stress. Not long after that she discovered runDisney (which is race division of Disney). Combining her passion for running and all things Disney, Dani signed up for the 2023 Princess Half Marathon in Orlando, FL. Tyler was very supportive of this from the get go and even joined Dani and her family in Florida. Race day finally arrived and Dani was really nervous because this was the longest distance she had done. Tyler was a trooper though and woke up early to cheer her on throughout the course. He was able to track where she was on the course and would send encouraging text messages at each mile marker. This was just what Dani needed to get her through the 13.1 miles. They met up at the finish line where all the post-race activities were taking place, including lots of photo opportunities with backdrops and characters. Dani was so exhausted to enjoy any of these festivities but Tyler and her mom convinced her to take a picture in front of Cinderella's carriage. It was at this moment that Tyler dropped down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She said yes of course! It was truly a fairytale moment.
