Our Story

Max & Eliza met at Bible College in California in Spring 2022. They became great friends through a smaller group of mutual friends. Eliza's first impression was, "I love his lips and smile." This time was filled with volleyball, card games and late night talks. During fall 2022, lets just say they were inseparable. As they continued to learn their hearts for Jesus, their own hearts lured them to one another. They always sat at the same spot on campus hoping the other would join... sure enough they did. At this point it was pretty obvious they liked each other, but it took them a while to bring it up to one another. One night Max was ready to share his feelings with her, but before he could Eliza brought it up first. They took some time to pray about it & decided to move forward. On December 4th, 2022 Max and Eliza had their first date. Max began with gifting her sunflowers, then they went to Boba and walked around a botanical garden where he then ended it with a handwritten letter. Although the semester came to an end, their relationship had only just begun. Fast forward a couple months, Max returned to Idaho and Eliza returned to Arizona. They constantly traveled to visit one another, then Max officially asked Eliza to be his girlfriend on February 8th, 2023! Throughout that time and after they found the love to travel to many places together, and also doing the things they enjoy like reading their bibles, looking for good coffee, smoothie, & boba, throwing a football, playing pickleball, and watching shows together. They were long distance for 9 months until Eliza decided to make the move to Boise, Idaho!! On September 28th, 2024, Max planned to propose to Eliza. He started the morning by taking her to Kathryn Albertson Park where he walked her into a beautiful path with roses and asked her to marry him. After taking it in and enjoying the moment, they celebrated with family, and also called close family & friends. They then went alone to a favorite breakfast spot and enjoyed most of the day doing the things that they loved. Then in the evening they joined his family for dinner at a fancy restaurant, then home for dessert and a toast.
