Brittany and Justin met at a holiday party with Justin's co-workers at the time. Brittany went as a guest with one of her now bridesmaids, Alisha, and happened to strike up a conversation with Justin. They bonded over their love of travel - Justin sharing that he lived in Germany during high school and Brittany gushing about her study abroad experience in London. They went on their first date shortly after that night and the rest was history!

Justin planned the proposal with help from Brittany's sister Jessica. He popped the question while the two were in New York City for the weekend visiting Jessica. Justin and Brittany went out for some appetizers before going to a late dinner with Jessica and now groomsman Micah. While they were out of the apartment, Jessica and her team completely transformed the space. They brought in hundreds of flowers and candles and made the apartment something out of a fairy tale. When Brittany and Justin arrived, music started playing and it was the perfect moment when Justin knelt down and asked Brittany to spend forever with him.
