When do I need to send out my RSVP card by?

We kindly ask you send us your RSVP card back by June 1st, 2025!

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! There will transportation to and from our meeting point in front of Hotel Vila Galé in Ericeira, Portugal. Check the Travel tab for details.

When should I book my flight?

Answer

I would begin looking at flights as soon as possible. The earlier the better!

Which airport is located closest to the venue?

Answer

Humberto Delgado Airport located in Lisbon! It is about 30 minutes from the venue, 25 minutes from Cascais/Estoril, and 35 minutes from Ericeira.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather can tend to vary in Portugal in October! In the areas surrounding Lisbon you can see an average high temperature of 74ºF. I would bring bathing suits and summer clothes but also layers and rain jackets. The evenings tend to be cooler, especially on the coast (Cascais, Ericeira, Sintra). Layers are key!

What currency do they use in Portugal?

Answer

Euros. You can order them at your local bank or AAA ahead of time, exchange at the airport, or take out of ATM’s located in Portugal. Note - most banks will charge fees at the ATMS.

Do I need a Passport to travel to Portugal?

Answer

Yes. I would start this process ASAP if you don’t already have one! Also, if your passport expires within 6 months of travel, they will not allow you to travel.

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire.
