Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Wear something light and comfortable. Jackets are not required. Sundresses and rompers are perfectly acceptable.

Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

This is completely your choice. We are not requiring masks, but please do what makes you comfortable. There will be a few extra chairs at the ceremony to allow for social distancing but not many. All Historic Shady Lane staff members will have a mask available and will wear it when working with guests and the wedding party.

What other COVID precautions will there be?

Answer

Historic Shady Lane will have cleaned and sanitized all surfaces before and after the event including all tables and chairs. Bathrooms will be sanitized every hour during the event. Golf carts will be sanitized before during and after the event. If you have more questions, please contact HSL or us.

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes. Parking is free of charge. When you arrive at the estate, parking attendants will direct you to the guest parking area. Golf carts will be available to escort you to the ceremony site and back to your vehicle at the end of the night.

Will there be transportation to and from the hotel?

Answer

The hotel does not have a shuttle, and we have not arranged transportation at this time. Uber and Lyft are familiar with Historic Shady Lane and will be available should you choose to get a ride. Guests may leave their vehicles at HSL overnight as long as they are moved by 10 am the following morning.
