Booking information and deadlines

Andrew and I have pre-reserved rooms with a special set rate for the travel window of February 23rd - February 28th. Guests may extend their stay, pending availability. There are different view options that include garden view, pool view, partial ocean view and ocean view. If you forgot / don't know the room style you picked to reserve, please message Jessie and she can help! Deadlines: After you have discussed your travel dates with family & friends, you are ready to make a deposit! An initial deposit of $350 per person minimum will be due by Oct. 11, 2025, which should cover 20% of your total stay. If $350 per person doesn't cover your personal 20%, your deposit will be adjusted to ensure it equals 20% of your total. Final room payments are due 90 days before the wedding: Nov. 9, 2025.

What is a room block?

Answer

This means that the group has paid a deposit to pre-reserve rooms for your group. The couple has signed a contract with the resort and has committed to a minimum number of rooms. Only rooms booked with Kate Robertson count toward this contract. The resort has a 3 night minimum stay requirement, but you are welcome to come earlier or stay later! We have reserved several different room types for you to choose from.

All Inclusive resorts are priced per person, based on how many individuals are booked in a room. The rates listed are PER PERSON and include: Hotel Accommodations: All Inclusive Meal Plan - Also includes all beverages including alcohol. Round trip shared transportation between the destination airport & your resort. Hotel, Tax & gratuities. All wedding events & activities. At Dreams Playa Mujeres, amenities include: Limitless access to gourmet à la carte dining options without reservations required. Unlimited international and domestic top-shelf spirits. Unlimited natural fruit juices and soft drinks. Room service, pool and beach wait service. Mini-bar refreshed daily with soft drinks, bottled water, juices and beer. Daily maid service. Endless daytime activities and live nightly entertainment. Theme parties, oceanfront bars and entertainment venues. No wristbands required. All taxes and gratuities. Guests who upgrade to the Preferred Club section also receive: Preferred status, upgraded amenities and upgraded services, including: Personalized check-in and check-out at the Private Preferred Club Lounge. Daily continental breakfast service in the Preferred Club lounge, afternoon hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, exquisite desserts and fine liquors. Á la carte breakfast at Maris Seafood Restaurant. Do I need a passport?

Answer

YES — all international travelers are required to have a passport, including infants and children. To learn more about the application process, please visit the U.S. Department of State website. If you already have a passport, please check the expiration date. The US State Department recommends that international travelers have 6 months of validity remaining on their passport after their return trip date. Is there a payment plan?

Answer

Yes! Initial deposits are due on October 11th, 2025. There are no set requirements for payments, as long as final payments are made by the deadline of Nov. 9, 2025.

What about airfare?

Answer

While the group requests that you book your room with the group, you are welcome to book your own airfare. ​ Due to contract deadlines, we recommend booking your hotel room as early as possible and adding air when you're ready. The closest airport is Cancun International Airport (CUN). Transportation is only included from this airport. Dreams is approximately 35 minutes from of the airport. Included transportation is "shared" transportation, which is a shuttle that may make stops at other resorts. If you book your own air, please forward your air confirmation email to Kate no later than Nov. 9, 2025. This is how we schedule your transportation pick up at your destination. Guests who do not submit their air information by the deadline will forfeit their included transfers.

Can we come earlier or stay later?

Absolutely! ​If you would like to stay for dates before or after this date window, that is no problem. Please include your requested dates in your reservation form and Kate will confirm availability! Note: rates outside the room block dates may differ from our group rates quoted here.
