We're Getting Married!

Our love story kicked off back in 2013 at a Berkeley High football game, but the real story started long before that. Doran had been noticing Mecca in the halls since the year before. She was always on the go, kept to herself, and was a bit of a mystery—which only made him more curious. Despite seeing her all the time, he never seemed to get the perfect moment to say "hi"...until that night at the game. Doran spotted her sitting alone in the stands, and he knew this was his chance. When his friends headed to the snack bar, he told them he’d stay behind. Mecca overheard and figured he was about to make his move, but she kept it cool, pretending not to notice. When Doran finally worked up the nerve to talk, he skipped the small talk and went right to, “What kind of classes are you taking?” and “How are your grades looking?” She was surprised but in a good way. Right away, she saw he was different. That unexpected conversation turned into something pretty special. We were just 16 and 15 back then, but that moment sparked something amazing. Since then, we’ve built a life full of love, laughs, and adventures. Now, we’re ready for the next chapter, one we’ve been dreaming of for a long time.
