We met at a show in Ellwood City. Our best friends at the time were dating and they thought we would make a good couple (they were right). Zook was playing a show on stage with his band and I had been there with my own booth selling my paintings at the time. Zook had come over and he stood in front of my booth while we talked for about an hour. He then bought one of my paintings which is hung up in his childhood bedroom still to this day. We exchanged numbers and talked non-stop for over a month. I had invited him to my apartment for the weekend and after that he never really left. In fact. about a month after Zook came over for the weekend we were sitting on the couch when I asked Zook if he lived there. We both said "I don't know". Zook asked me if I wanted him to leave, I said no and just like that we were living together! A year later we bought the house we live in today and together we have a happy home with 3 little kitties to call our own! Zook's mom, often makes the joke that he was only supposed to come down for the weekend and then now were getting married!
