It was just another day at work, or so Kelsey and Ryan thought as they each headed into WeWork 44 Montgomery. Kelsey was sitting at a booth with her coworker drinking a coffee when a guy walked by and flashed her a smile that stuck with her. Ryan walked into 44 Montgomery to grab his morning coffee and was stopped in his tracks when he saw a beautiful girl sitting in the booth and he couldn’t help but give her a smile. From that point on, he was set on finding out who she was. He learned that she was new on the WeWork Community Team and so he developed a plan to talk to her but only when she was alone at the front desk. Finally that day came. Ryan had just gotten back from lunch and when he exited the elevator he spotted Kelsey alone at the front desk and so he jumped on his opportunity. Kelsey saw a guy walking towards her and heart skipped a couple of beats as she realized he was the guy who flashed her a smile just a few days earlier. Ryan told her that his keycard wasn't working so they made some small talk while she attempted to fix his keycard. Kelsey was quite overcome by his good looks and accent that she found it difficult to form complete sentences. She handed him his keycard and off he went back to his office, but it must have been fate because the keycard still didn't work and Ryan had to come back to the front desk and they got to spend a few extra moments together. Kelsey will never tell if she did this on purpose ;) Over the next few weeks, Ryan went to the espresso machine (which was conveniently located at the front desk, where Kelsey sat) about 5 times a day. Kelsey’s coworkers, witnessing this, exclaimed that either Ryan has a caffeine problem or he must really like Kelsey. Ryan later confessed to the latter and said he wanted to find any excuse to talk to her so he would pour his 3rd-5th coffee down the bathroom sink. The drive by coffee chats turned into coffee dates on the other WeWork floors and then Ryan finally asked Kelsey on a real date and they've been inseparable ever since!

Ryan knew the cabin was one of Kelsey's favorite places and it also became a very special place to the couple because they spent almost a month quarantining there in the beginning of the pandemic. The pair enjoyed wine and cheese on the expansive deck to watch the sunset. Ryan got down on one knee and popped the question!
