We’re getting married!

We met at Mizzou during the last month of Lindsay’s Junior year and Logan’s sophomore year. We met online and decided to meet face to face at a volleyball game for a club Lindsay was involved in. Yes, online dating works! When we first met, Logan hardly talked, while Lindsay tried hard not to ramble. We were so different, almost perfect opposites. Neither of us were looking for a relationship but something just clicked. We spent that summer three hours apart but visited each other and talked constantly. We decided life was more fun together. In October, Logan decided to ask Lindsay to be his girlfriend at a Mizzou football game and the rest is history. We have joked that we are overly cute because we share a birthday and our star sign is the pisces, a sign of balance. We bring balance to each other and have decided that we’ve found our other half. We can not wait to celebrate with our friends and family!

Logan proposed on February first 2019. Lindsay was caught 100% off guard. Lindsay spent the Christmas season being prepared and suspecting. So, when Logan had his tonsils taken out during the last week of January, she thought she was in the clear until he could easily speak without pain. WRONG. One day, as she came home for her lunch break to take care of Logan, he met her at the door. Logan held out a sleep mask and told her to put it on. Then he led her to our spare room and took off her sleep mask. He had made a wood sign that read “Will you Marry me?”. Logan lit candles, put out flowers, hung twinkley lights, and played one of our favorite songs. He got down on one knee and asked Lindsay to marry him. Obviously, she said yes! Then I went back to work and couldnt stop smiling the rest of the day
