We’re getting married!

The love story began back in 2018. The end of Septemebr to be exact. It’s super romantic! Jesse contacted Kara on OkCupid (the dating app for all you old foggies out there) and the two chatted for a few days. On October 4th, Jesse asked when the two could meet up. As it stood, Kara was getting off a 12 hour shift and preparing to go back to Bakersfield for all of the October birthdays. She hesitently invited Jesse to meet outside her house to walk her dog Zosyn after work. After all, it was Loma Linda and his parents’ house was just a walk up the street (which made it totally ok and not creepy at all!) Jesse showed up dressed to the nines, also just coming from work and Kara stepped out of the door in sweat pants and her cutest baggy tee. Needless to say, it was love at first sight! On October 18, while Kara was over checking out his newley purchased home, Jesse was bartering on offerup for a dining room table. He causally asked Kara to be his girlfriend by telling the table seller that he would bring his girlfriend’s muscles to help load up. The rest was history! Fast forward (a grand total of 2 months) and Jesse took Kara on their first of many adventures. Costa Rica! The couple enjoyed the cities, beaches and even got to see the holiday festival of lights together. The travel bug had bitten and that was the first of many trips. They have now seen 7 countries and counting together and multiple US states. In fact their first Valentine’s Day was spent in Chicago! For those of you who aren’t familiar with the bride or groom, lets catch you up! Kara is an ICU nurse at Loma Linda Univerity Hospital and Jesse works in operations finance for Amazon. Kara is horrible at all things numbers and Jesse has both of their financial futures planned out to a T! They each have a dog, Luna the beagle and Zosyn aka Zoey the golden retreiver. Both Jesse and Kara love the outdoors and can’t wait for you to join in kicking off their next big adventure...marriage.
