How We Met
05.10.2013
We met the last weekend of our freshman year at KU at a wonderful place called the Jayhawk Cafe. Although we did not date right away, we became reacquainted at the gym in October of junior year. Our relationship grew and by the end of the semester, we watched our first Chiefs game together and ate Chinese food. We officially started dating on February 14th 2015.
The Proposal

We traveled to South Africa and after our morning safari, we were walking around the resort we were staying at and came across this area that overlooked the game reserve. Phillip got down on one knee and I said YES!
