It’s happening!

Davis proposed on his birthday on the beach near our home. He asked me to plan a birthday dinner for him with a group of close friends. When we arrived at the restaurant they told us that the reservation was not ready and our friends were waiting on the beach. Davis and I walked out to meet them. When we spotted them, I saw Allison with a large gift box. I immediately thought she was going to have some silly gift like an Smirnoff Ice for him to drink. I told him not to open it! Fortunately he did not listen to me. When we got to them, he opened the box. Inside was a rose. As he pulled the rose out and handed it to me, he looked at me and said "Oh God!". That's when I knew he was proposing. I screamed "Yes!!" and stuck out my hand before he could even get down on one knee.
