Let’s get Married!

Existing in similar friend circles (her classmates were his teammates) the Bride and Groom met in the cafeteria at Birmingham- Southern College just months before the Bride was set to graduate. You can ask the happy couple the details of that encounter, but it can be summed up by stating the Groom couldn’t believe she had been existing just steps away for the last 3 plus years and they had never met. They exchanged socials over time, and after the Groom graduated they started a friendship rooted in laughter, Bible study, and LOTS of yapping. (Hard to believe, we know). The Groom professed his love during the Covid-19 pandemic when the Bride had her sights set on a military life and sadly she opted to remain friends. Years later once things settled down for her, the Bride reached out to catch up with the Groom and was met with the toughest friend zone (possibly in history). “Make sure you get fitted for your tux, because when I find the one you’re going to be a groomsman in my wedding!”- Damian Mitchell. I guess what goes around comes around.. but despite the mutual friend zoning throughout the years, the happy couple decided to grab a bite one night when they realized they’d be in the same city and that hour dinner turned into seven hours of catching up, reminiscing and realizing the time was finally right for the both of them. They decided to go all in and well, here we are! The soon to be Mitchells and their families are so excited to have you join them as they achieve the infamous feat of escaping the friendzone forever!
