Veronica's first time in Disney was with Nick and his family. It quickly became a special place. It isn't called the most magical place in the world for nothing!
This is our favorite weekend getaway! Between yummy cider and relaxing vibes, this is the place to be. There are lots of hotels in the area and close by is Pine Bush - this Upstate town is known for having the most UFO sightings in NYS
This is where we got engaged! Perfect place to go when flowers are bloomed and skies are blue. Their cafe is great for a quick bite for lunch and teatime! A hidden gem on the island
A great date night meal in our book. Veronica recommends: 12oz Prime Rib with Caeser salad and sweet potato for the two sides. Make sure you ask for cream horseradish sauce as well! Nick recommends: Country fried chicken with Caeser salad and corn for the two sides. He prefers cream gravy!
A romantic night out with stunning views by the ferry! Our favorite restaurant that is worth every penny! Veronica recommends: Filet Minon entree with seasonal sides Nick recommends: Frenched chicken breast with seasonal sides For dessert: Flourless chocolate cake or any cheesecake they provide. If you're doing an appetizer do the American Charcuterie Board! Going down port, we enjoy walking up and down main street and maybe grabbing some old timey candy bars or baked goods to take home @ Port Jefferson Frigate
This was our favorite place we have been to so far! It's being out of the country without being out of the country. We made the brave idea of renting a car from Miami Airport and driving the other 3 1/2 hours to Key West. We had so much fun just being ourselves and soaking in the lovely views on our drive. It was nice to not be crammed in an airplane the whole time and to not follow any fasten seatbelt signs even though you desperately have to pee. Key West was an amazing place to have fun and also relax when needed. We stayed at the Casa Marina Resort and cannot recommend it enough. We were served food and drinks on the private beach they have. One of the only ones in Key West might we add. Duvalt street is where all the fun is, with nightclubs, bars, restaurants and good vibes, we were always enjoying something new.
Tulips, Lavendar, Hydrangeas OH MY!!! This family-owned farm has flowers galore. There are animals here as well but the acres of plants are where the appeal is. During their weekend festivals depending on what's in season, they have food trucks in their Beer Garden. We love El Toro Rojo for Birria and Al Pastor tacos. They have an on-site brewery with special crafts depending on the season, and a greenhouse with fresh herbs and other household plants to purchase.
