We're tying the knot!

We met singing in University Singers and Chamber Singers during Brian's first year at UVA. I convinced Brian to join a third choir with me. Then COVID-19 happened. Fast forward two years later, we got the opportunity to sing at St. Paul's Memorial Church together. In the church choir, we became friends and ultimately fell in love. Brian asked me out while watching the most romantic movie of all time: Cars 2. -Meaghan

I proposed in the basement computer science classroom that we had studied in nightly during Meaghan's fourth year at UVA. I set up a couch, mood lighting, and a projector to play Cars 2, the most romantic movie, in the classroom to propose. (As a special touch, I wrote "Reserved for a Proposal" on a chalkboard in the classroom to ensure that no one interfered with the proposal.) I am so happy she said yes! -Brian
