Flight
Kahului Airport is Maui's main airport to fly in to and out of. A range of airlines fly into Kahului, but we recommend checking Hawaiian, Southwest, or Alaska Airlines for flights. Please book your flight to accommodate your personal travel plans around the wedding date.
Flight
A smaller airport that is closer to the venue of our wedding is the Kapalua Airport. The price ranges can vary depending on where you're flying from, but they still accommodate airlines such as Hawaiian, Delta and Alaska. If you plan to stay on the West side of Maui and travel minimally, I suggest checking out flights in and out of Kapalua!
Travel Note
Our wedding venue is located in Kapalua, Maui. There are many hotels, airbnbs, and other types of lodging in that area. Considering Maui is a smaller island, you can really stay anywhere on the island, as long as you have reliable transportation to Kapalua. If you are looking for areas to stay closer to the venue, we recommend Ka'anapali, Honokowai, or Lahaina. As you may know, Lahaina was affected by a massive wildfire in 2023. Many buildings and shops burnt down from this fire. Lahaina has a great, strong community and is very near and dear to Meaghan's heart as she has many memories from the Historic Front Street with her family. If you decide to stay here, please pay respect to the lives and businesses that were lost in this fire. Mahalo.
Rental Car
Renting a car is going to be the best way to get around Maui. While there are Ubers and Lyfts on the island, they're not as consistent as the mainland. Maui has plenty of rental car companies to choose from. Kahului Airport has direct access to rental cars, or you can find rental car companies near the airport. If you have a Costco membership, we recommend searching through Costco Travel to get a good deal for rental cars.
