This is not your typical wedding. After we exchange vows, rings, happy tears and smiles and a kiss, we will be enjoying some time taking pictures and then will be having dinner (reservation required) at a restaurant on resort. Since it’s an all inclusive, we won’t be having a formal wedding sit down. So you have the freedom to join us or enjoy something else.
Of course not. We will be happy to share our adventure and stories when we come home. We only wanted to extend the opportunity for those who might enjoy their own vacation to join us while we are south and having our moment.
Well we decided we would like to have a relaxing calm peaceful trip so chose an adults only resort so that rules out kids accompanying. Everyone deserves their break away from their young ones once in a while.
We did not block out rooms, so feel free to book a room where you feel most comfortable. We did not anticipate a large group would be joining us so keeping booking loose for those who may not stay as long.
As we know Mexico is hot, hotter in June. However some of the restaurants on resort do require a dress code so keep that in mind. Men do require a closed toe shoe or nicer sandal (not flip flop), full pant (not shorts) and a collared shirt for a few places and ladies either a full outfit, dress, skirt and top, No bathing suits or flip flops at dinner, a nicer sandal or flat closed toe shoe. All restaurants do have a dress code guide on the resorts website, or just ask Meaghan for advice if needed. But you get to dress up a bit so take advantage! Promise there is air conditioning.
Our registry is really only an email for those who want to help us with our trip cost or send a little monetary gift. We are comfy in our home and have everything we truly need already, so any gifts are not required, only wanted to give an option for those who would like to contribute.
