WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

We met at a classmate's party and didn't think much of it. Then a bunch of us went to pizza place after a long day of back- to- back classes and we both picked, “I’d Do Anything for Love.” And it just clicked. We harmonized by accident. That’s pretty much when we thought, “Okay. This could be something.”

Like many things that have meaning in life, it will naturally be expressed from the heart. The day I decided to ask Meaghan to marry me, it was the most exciting day of my life, and of course the most nerve wracking one as well. This day will forever be in both of our hearts since now we have decided to take upon this next step in life as soon to be husband and wife, with the guidance of the lord almighty. God has always been present and has blessed us with so much, obstacles that tested our loyalty toward one another and challenges that life just throws at you. Here is how that magical day happened... The day started with Meaghan and I getting ready to go to Chicago, all she knew was that we were going to a fancy restaurant, so I had asked her to wear the sexiest clothes for such an occasion. On our way, my mind or even a thought was just shutting down, not knowing what I would say or how I was going to propose, nerve wracking right? But, I held my own and told myself that I would just let it flow from the heart and it was then that I was able to calm down. This is how I proposed to my beautiful future wife.... On my knees I said," Meaghan, I have been blessed with your presence in my life, because you have taught me ways to be kind and gentle. I admire that when times get tough, you didn't blink in helping both of us pull through the obstacles life has surprised us with. This is the quality of woman that I have been seeking for, I asked god almighty to put you in my path because your a fighter like me. I learned to admire the gentle, caring heart you have, something that I had to learn and of course soften. Through these years together I never thought that the lord put you in my path, he then of course heard me and brought you to me when the time was just right. Meaghan Victoria Rose Kitchen, "WILL YOU BE MY WIFE?... and she said YES!" On another note, I was lucky we were the first ones in the restaurant because when I got up, I am not lying to you, the place was completely full!!!
