How do I RSVP?

Answer

We invite you to RSVP online by clicking on the RSVP tab of our website. Please let us know your plans by September 1st. We hope to be able to celebrate with you!

Where should we stay? Is there a room block?

Answer

We have a block of rooms reserved at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf, as that is the venue for our wedding reception. Please note that this special rate can only be booked online. You can access the special rate via the ‘Travel’ tab on our wedding website, or by using the following unique link: https://book.passkey.com/go/ConnellCarrenoGarcia There is no length of stay requirement, and the special rate is available to book Wednesday through Sunday of our wedding weekend. There are also plenty of other great hotel options close by - so please feel free to browse. It would be very easy to secure Ubers/taxis from any hotel of your choice in Boston to our wedding venue.

What is the schedule of events?

Thursday October 3rd: We will have a Welcome Party from 7-10 PM at Tia's Waterfront Restaurant, which is right next to the Marriott Long Wharf. Whether you are coming from out of town, or local - please consider stopping by for some light bites, drinks, and good company! We cannot wait to see everyone! Friday October 4th: Our wedding ceremony will be held at Gate of Heaven Catholic Church in South Boston from 4-5 PM. Our cocktail hour at the Marriott Long Wharf will begin at 6 PM and dinner & dancing will follow.

What is the suggested attire?

Answer

The wedding is semi-formal, so we encourage you to wear cocktail attire. Keep in mind that we will have some outdoor space at our reception venue, so you may want to consider bringing a light jacket or sweater.

Will there be parking available at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! There is a large parking lot with ample space at Gate of Heaven Catholic Church for those who will be driving to the ceremony. The Boston Marriott Long Wharf will validate self-parking at the Harbor Garage (across the plaza from our venue) for guests attending the reception on Friday, October 4th. They will hand out a parking validation ticket at the reception.

Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?

Answer

If you have a guest, it will be denoted on your invitation! Unfortunately, our venue space does not have capacity for any additional guests. We appreciate your understanding!

Are kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

We decided to make this an evening for adults only, but we’ll be happy to help you coordinate a sitter for the night!
