After the monthly rearranging of classroom desks, Meaghan and Angelo were seated next to each other in their 8th grade homeroom and the rest was history....

A team effort... What Meaghan thought was the special celebration of her brother Eddie's birthday turned out to be an elaborate proposal disguise. Angelo drove 5 hours north, the day after Christmas, to surprise Meaghan at the lake and resort that she had grown up going to. The Sagamore holds a large piece of the Hart's family heart. Having a multi-generational attachment and bond to this location, Angelo knew that it couldn't happen anywhere else. On the evening of December 26th, 2020, Angelo surprised Meaghan during a family photo; Meaghan's back positioned towards the lake allowed for Angelo (who was hiding in sub-zero temperatures behind a bush), to rush the picture just in time for the memory to be caught live. Surrounded by the most important people in her life, "she said yes!!"

November 22, 2006 - First date. 2011 - Named highschool's class couple, "Romeo and Juliet" 2011-2015 - We choose colleges approximately 4 hours apart. Angelo becomes honorary Nittany Lion, visiting on bi-weekly basis. 2015 - Meaghan graduates undergrad, Angelo graduates graduate school. 2016 - We move in to our first apartment together in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia! 2017 - Meaghan starts doctoral program. 2017-2020 - Angelo keeps Meaghan sane. 2020 - Angelo teases that it is "our year", couple navigates pandemic, Meaghan graduates, small business is created, first DPT job is started, and Angelo proposes just in time for year close. 2021 - Wedding planning. 2022- Buys their first home, and actively renovates. WEDDING YEAR!!
