Mountain Top Resort
The venue has many activities on site. These include pool access, horseback riding, clay bird shooting, water activities, a spa, and more.
Moss Glen Falls
About an hour from our venue is one of the tallest waterfalls in Vermont. It is a short .1 mile hike to the overlook.
Woodstock
Woodstock is an incredible Autumn tourist destination. About an hour from the venue, it has a main strip of wonderful little shops, cafes, and restaurants. It features Billing's Farm, a working dairy farm and museum. There are also multiple trails for Mount Tom, a favorite hike of ours from when we lived in the area.
Brandon
Brandon is a cute little town about 25 minutes from our venue. This is probably the closest option for food outside of the resort. Brandon has several restaurants, a couple of nice boutiques, and a local artists guild. They also have a folk art gallery featuring the works of Warren Kimble.
Vermont
Vermont is a beautiful place, especially in the Fall. There are many little towns, farms, hikes, lakes, and events. If you plan to extend your adventure here beyond our wedding weekend, do some research and see what calls to you.
