It all started with a rafting trip… and an excellent wingman. Adam invited Phil (also our officiant) on a week-long rafting trip through Cataract Canyon, but Phil couldn’t go. Instead, he suggested his friend Meaghan, who had apparently been dropping not-so-subtle hints about wanting to go on a rafting trip. Thanks, Phil! Meaghan showed up with a strategy: rotate boats daily and make the most of the trip. The “new boat every day” plan didn’t stand a chance. After an instant connection with Adam, she never left his boat. What started as a week on the river turned into days of talking, laughing, and realizing something pretty special was happening. They’ve been adventuring together ever since. Ski trips, travels, and many more rafting miles followed. And because they apparently love doing big life moments on big rivers, Adam proposed on Day 19 of a 24-day Grand Canyon rafting trip. From Cataract Canyon to the Grand Canyon, this river love story has been quite the ride and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
