Meaghan's FAVORITE brewery. Live music, lots of space, food trucks and amazing served food, fun beer/cocktail/cider options and many games.
Lark Brewing Co.
A new and fun brewery close to Meaghan's parents house. Filled with covered bench space, outdoor bars, life size games and live music!
Golf
September is known for it's perfect weather, get in a round of golf! The best public courses in this area is Dominion Valley Country Club, Stonewall Golf Club at Lake Manassas and Heritage Hunt Golf and Country Club.
Stone Tower Winery
Our favorite winery in the area! The views are stunning and the wine is even better.
Leesburg Historic District
A lively and historic town, filled with great food and great finds. Close to One Loudoun that is home to iFly and Top Golf amongst tons of good eats.
Skyline Drive
The Skyline Drive runs 105 miles north and south along the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Shenandoah National Park and is the only public road through the Park. It takes about three hours to travel the entire length of the Park on a clear day. The Front Royal Entrance Station (mile 0) by Rt. 66 and 340 is the closest entry point.
Great Falls National Park
Meaghan's all time favorite hiking spot. There are many starting locations to choose from, but all lead to incredible waterfall views.
The Wharf DC
One of the newly completed areas of DC. This waterfront strip has amazing views of the city, great food, shopping, water taxis, and is a short trip from all the monuments and museums in DC.
Old Town Alexandria
The cutest town right outside of DC on the waterfront filled with amazing food, great shopping and much history. Easily one of my favorite places in the area.
DC Museums
Every museum is worth seeing in DC - however Meaghan's favorites are: The Smithsonian, The Holocaust Museum, The Air and Space Museum, and The International Space Museum.
DC Memorials
The National Monument, The Lincoln Memorial, The White House, The Jefferson Memorial, Arlington Cemetery, US Navy Memorial and more.
Luray Caverns
The largest cavern in the eastern US discovered in 1878. All formations in the caverns are calcite, a crystalline form of limestone and have they have been forming for millions of years.
