Meaghan and Ryan were both on an online dating app. Meaghan saw his profile, but there was so little information and individual pictures and swiped left...a few moments later a notification arrived that Ryan swiped right. Meaghan pondered accepting the invitation to chat and decided it was was a God nudge. Messages turned to texts, texts turned into a phone call to make sure neither person was a total weirdo and the first date took place on 12/22/18. It started at 2pm with Mexican food and Sangria, then a winter wonderland festival finally ending at nearly 8pm! The conversation flowed so easily and neither person ever wanted to look at their phone. The story continued in the New Year and quickly the two became nearly inseparable on the weekends. Ryan was the first to drop the "L" bomb less than a month after the first date! In February they met each others parents! and by March they were talking about marriage! Flash forward to October, Ryan arrived at Meaghan's one Saturday morning and the plan was to go to a winery with some friends. Ryan was acting super weird, weird enough that Meaghan snooped around to see if there was a ring hiding in his bag! (Oooops...the was no ring to be found) They arrived at the winery, met up with Nick and Marissa and things got weirder...Marissa was pointing at bare vines and saying "look how beautiful". Meaghan was very puzzled because the vine were bare then all of a sudden Nick received a "phone call" and called Marissa over and Ryan was right next to Meaghan but wasn't saying a word. Meaghan even asked him if he was okay, then Ryan backed up, dropped to one knee, and proposed! Meaghan laughed at first because she had been so suspicious but immediately answered "YES!" Soon after family arrived including Meaghan's who live out of state and the celebration continued...although they never tasted the wine and to this day still haven't! Our marriage journey began on 8/4/20 with a small ceremony and the celebration will occur on 8/5/21!
