We met at work. David did not like me very much at first and referred to me as "Bonkers" (the cartoon character). I was the outgoing goofy girl from the east coast that he could not stand. I wasn't too fond of the angry-looking T-Mobile manager either... But our mutual friend Jorge Sotomayor (Best Man and Officiant) saw the good in both of us and became a very dear friend. When Jorge moved to Costa Mesa California (a near 2-hour drive from Los Angeles) David and I would carpool together on Sundays to watch football and keep Jorge company. It was on those long car rides that David and I got to know each other. Soon we were hanging out together without Jorge, going to church together, the batting cages, and watching football at local bars. After about a year of this friendship (my friend's Tim and Cambron referred to him as my pseudo-boyfriend) David and I realized there was more to our relationship than just friendship. Eleven years, two kids, two dogs, and a house later, it's clear that the bedrock of our relationship is the friendship we still share. But so much more is the love and mutual respect that has grown so much over the past decade. I can't imagine a better partner or friend to share this life with, luckily David feels the same way! LOL! So on November 21, 2021, Please come and share in the love we have for each other as we commit ourselves to spend the rest of our lives together!
