Maid of Honor
I knew Meagan was a lifer when she would serenade me with “Believe” by Cherr in her Cher voice and all. We go all the way back to jr. high school when everything we wore had peace signs, either listened to John Mayer or Dave Mathews, and was convinced we were going to live at the beach in VW busses. Which we seriously prepared for by camping overnight in a tent in her backyard. But let’s not forget the defining moment when I lived 4 houses down from the high school and she never let me walk to school… if that’s not a true friendship I don’t know what is. Meagan & her family have always been a big staple piece in my life and are part of the reason that I have achieved the things that I have, Meag’s is a special one that im forever grateful for!
Best Man
Oscar and Colin's legendary friendship began in the second grade where they forged a bond stronger than tungsten steel. From that moment on it was foretold that they would be by each other's side through all of life's most important events.

I met Meagan in 2014 during her 21st birthday celebration. Back then, her relationship with Oscar was just a few months old from their first right swipe! Though Oscar and I went to the same high school, he was also the best friend of my partner at the time, so we all became close friends quickly. We would find any excuse to celebrate together: by attending shows, traveling for holidays, and ringing in every new age as a group in San Diego and beyond. Though we’ve never lived in the same city, my friendship with Meagan has withstood the test of time due to our common interest in living life fully, our love for Oscar, and our desire to see each other grow and succeed. Undoubtedly, this new chapter will further bond us as we toast to the lifetime of adventure she’ll share with Oscar.
Groomsman
I first met oscar in San Diego while I was living there and he was working as a medic. We bonded over beers and laughs while we really got to know each other. Over the years we have lived in many places close to each other and he has become more than a future brother in law, he’s become my second brother. Very proud of him in life and I can’t wait to see what he does next.

It all started at the Balboa Dog Park in San Diego. While Merlot and Winston were playing tug-a-war, Brandon and Oscar were talking and laughing together. Meagan and I were both like: “I’m trying so hard not to connect with people right now”, and looking at these two having friendly conversation when we never met each other before. At that moment of only looking at each other but thinking the same thing, Meagan and I knew we’d have a long friendship. Today, Meagan and Oscar are the godparents of our daughter.

After randomly meeting in a dog park in San Diego one week, Oscar and I were hanging out on the roof of an LA bar a few weeks later. I turned to him and asked if he supported trump. He said, “hell no,” and we’ve been friends ever since. Like me, Oscar has family from Louisiana but unlike him, I’m not allergic to crawfish shells. We’ve had some fun adventures and I’m happy he and Megan will be in our life as our daughters godparents.

As a friend of the Apodaca family, I've known Meagan since we were teenagers, and throughout the years, she has not only become one of my dearest friends, but also like a sister to me. Meagan is as hilarious as she is beautiful, and she is one of the most loyal and caring people I've ever known. From graduations to promotions, new puppies, and everything in between, we've seen each other through countless milestones and I am so excited to stand next to her as she enters into forever with Oscar.
Groomsman
I met Oscar back in high school where we would surf, workout and eat bean and cheesers at Robertos. I knew he was going to be life long friend when he had dance moves like Usher. The rest is history.

Though we don’t use our major as much as we probably should, the bond we developed during our many design classes together made it all worth it. Our time as just classmates quickly turned into friendship with many memories including her bringing me to my 1st Lakers game, sharing our love for good restaurants, laughing about our families similar quirks, and countless nights on the promenade. Without a doubt, one of the best things that came out of LMU is my lifelong friendship with Meagan.

I met Oscar after moving back to San Diego when we both worked together as paramedics. What started as a work friendship grew to what will be a lifelong bond. I am super excited for you two!”

I first met Oscar when I was an angsty teenager, making my way through high school. Through that period of time and beyond, we formed a close friendship and became just like brothers. We had a lot of great experiences, traveling to New Zealand, going to Outside Lands in San Francisco, and celebrating all of his well earned accomplishments. This wedding is yet another accomplishment that I am most excited to celebrate in October. Our friendship has always been strong and I can’t wait for the future memories we make!
