Where should I fly into?

Answer

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is your best option. It's a quick, 20 minute ride from downtown.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire The ceremony will have very limited seating, so we recommend that ladies wear comfortable shoes. We want you dancing later anyway! Please note that November in Texas can be a bit unpredictable. It is typically in the mid 80's, but we've seen it get a little chilly. We will have heaters on site if that is the case, but we recommend planning for layers, just in case. Weather can also change from day to day, so keep that in mind if you're planning on staying here for a few days.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Parking in downtown Austin is notoriously tough. If you plan on staying locally in the area, we recommend utilizing ride share services, such as Lyft or Uber, as much as possible. You'll find it much easier.

Where should I stay?

We have a hotel block at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown. You can find the information on the "Accommodations" page on the website.

Where is your venue?

Answer

Our venue is tucked away on Austin's Eastside and can be easy to miss (it is the Secret House after all!). You'll see a dark grey wall with a green door to mark the entrance. We will have signage and candles out front.

Can I park my car at the venue?

Answer

There is no dedicated on site parking at the venue. The surrounding neighborhood does have paid street parking. For ease of transportation, and safety, we highly encourage utilizing ride share services. We want you to party hard and get home safe at the end of the night.

Are children welcome?

Answer

We adore your kids! However, due to the nature of our venue, we have chosen to keep this an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding.

What kind of food are y'all having?

Justine's serves the best French food in the city. We hope you like escargot! If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know on the RSVP page.

I've never been to Austin. What do you recommend I do while I'm here?

Answer

First of all, welcome! We love this city, and the state of Texas, so much. If this is your first time, you MUST get some barbecue. We call ourselves the Live Music Capital of the World, so follow your ears wherever you hear it. We have some recommendations of our favorite places here on the website.
