When should I RSVP by?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please join us in semi-formal attire.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony starts promptly at 2:00pm. Please plan to arrive at least 15–20 minutes before so you have time to get settled.

What do we do in between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

The ceremony is planned to conclude around 3:00pm. You are welcome to head to our reception venue & buy a drink or two at their restaurant bar. They also have a nice patio overlooking the Niagara River. Cocktail hour will begin at 5:00pm one floor above the hotel lobby. The stairs to the reception/cocktail hour space is to the right of the restaurant bar.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a great selection of drinks to enjoy. The bar will be open during cocktail hour from 5:00pm-6:00pm. The bar will be closed during intros & dinner & will reopen at 7:30pm. All tables will also have 2 bottles of wine to share during dinner.

Those with a plus one will be listed on their RSVP.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unless your child(ren) are listed on your RSVP/invitation, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy a night out with us.

What is parking like at the ceremony/reception?

Answer

There is ample, free parking at Prince of Peace Church for the ceremony. You may park on either side of the church. Parking at Double Tree where the reception is held is also free for the evening. However, if you booked a room with Double Tree and are staying the night, $7.50/car will be charged to your room.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are fortunate to already have everything we need and have chosen not to register. If you wish to give a gift, a contribution toward our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.
